Christian Montessori School
Uniform Policy & Procedure
All
Primary and Elementary level students at Christian Montessori School are
required to wear uniforms to school.
Uniform Guidelines:
• Our school uniform colors are Navy and Khaki
• Acceptable attire for boys are slacks, shorts, monogrammed short and
long sleeve polo shirts, and sweater/sweater vests. If the “cargo” pants
are purchased from First Impressions, they may be worn to school.
• For girls: skirts, skorts, jumpers, slacks, shorts, monogrammed short
and long sleeve polo shirts, and sweaters/sweater vests.
• Monogrammed sweatshirts in navy are acceptable for everyone.
• Monogrammed navy sweatpants, heather tee shirts and navy gym shorts
are required for grades 1st thru 6th. These items are worn only on PE
days.
• Shoes are to be soft-soled navy blue, black or brown. All white
athletic tennis shoes are permissible. Avoid shoes with blinking lights
and cartoon characters due to the distractions they cause in the
classroom.
All monogrammed wear must be obtained from First Impressions Embroidery
and Design. Please see the Uniform Catalog for more information.
In order to ensure each child is in appropriate uniform, we are
enforcing the following protocol:
• 1st time student out of uniform – the student will be brought to the
front office by the teacher and a courtesy call will be made to the
parent reminding them of the uniform policy.
• 2nd time student out of uniform – the student will be brought to the
front office and the parent called and asked to bring the appropriate
clothing to the school for the student. The student will remain in the
office area unit the parent arrives.
• 3rd time student out of uniform – the student will be brought to the
front office and the parent will be called to pick the child up from
school and not return until they are wearing uniforms.
*New students are offered a “grace period” of one week to order and
obtain uniforms. Special consideration will be given if items are on
backorder or not in stock.
